Costas Anastasiou was born in Nicosia in 1963. He graduated from the Grammar School and after completing his military service, studied accounting. He is AAT and CAT qualified. He is a member of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors, member of the International Institute of Internal Auditors, member of the Institute of Financial Accountants of Great Britain as well as a member of the Institute of Financial Consultants of Canada.
He has been employed at the Phileleftheros Media Group since January 1984, working in every section of the accounting department before becoming its manager. He is also a board member of Kronos distribution agency.
He has attended a series of specialised seminars in business administration, business productivity and bookkeeping. Married to Elli Chrysostomou, they have one son, Tasos. Back
